Charles Dickens was one of the greatest and most influential writers of the Victorian era. This resource is about the life and work of Charles Dickens. It contains a fully editable, SIMPLE TEXT, 50-slide PowerPoint presentation on Charles Dickens. It is appropriate for primary pupils.
As well as writing some of the most widely read stories of all time, such as ‘A Christmas Carol’, ‘A Tale of Two Cities’, ‘Oliver Twist’, ‘David Copperfield’. ‘The Pickwick Papers’ and ‘Great Expectations’, the presentation explains how Charles Dickens’ drew attention to the plight of the working classes in Victorian England.
